Senior Designer @ Slate Studio Logo, Website, Illustration, Iconography
LessonLodge is a Los Angeles startup that takes a high-touch approach to pairing kids ages 5-15 with qualified music teachers. I was able to provide them with a new logo and branding to go with it, as well as a ton of illustrations and a new website.
Double Eagle 2014
Co-creator, Designer Logo, iOS App
Double Eagle is a simple golf score card app. I've always wanted an attractive score card app that allowed me to keep score on the course, as well as the scores of the friends I was playing with. I'm building Double Eagle alongside Connor Montgomery and we expect it to be released within the next year.
Socialtyze 2011 - 2013
Product Designer Product Design
Socialtyze works with Fortune 5000 brands to build and manage their social presence across all networks. I was brought on as the product design lead to help imagine their social intelligence tool.
Do Something Calendars 2014
Designer, Personal Poster Design
After reading this article about Jerry Seinfeld's productivity secrets, I was inspired to design these 18"x24" calendars to stay motivated and on track. Mark a red X through each day once you have done something that helps you reach a certain goal and try not to break the chain.
Matthew grew up the son of an engineer in a small, rural Missouri farming town. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2011, he was an active baseball player and drummer. His love for the St. Louis Cardinals wasn't left behind.
